Welcome to One Bunk Tijuana
One Bunk Tijuana stands out as a vibrant boutique hotel nestled in the heart of Zona Centro, Tijuana. Boasting a strong 4.7-star rating, it offers guests an authentic urban experience right on Av. Revolución. This property captures the essence of Tijuana’s historic charm combined with a modern, hipster aesthetic that resonates well with travelers seeking both culture and comfort.
Guests appreciate the hotel’s prime location—just minutes away from the buzzing local scene, including iconic spots like the grand cathedral and the lively bars beneath the soaring Tijuana Arch. The proximity to La Justina, a popular bar and restaurant located directly below, adds a unique appeal. Its renowned cocktails and vibrant atmosphere create an ideal nightlife hub without having to venture far from the hotel.
The boutique hotel comprises only five rooms, each designed to maximize space with plush beds and contemporary amenities such as free Wi-Fi, air conditioning, and pet-friendly accommodations. While some rooms lack televisions and may face street noise from the local nightlife, these elements contribute to the genuine urban vibe that many visitors find invigorating. For travelers prioritizing tranquility or family-friendliness, this might be a consideration, as accessibility and stroller-friendly features are limited.
One Bunk Tijuana’s staff receive consistent praise for their attentiveness and warmth, enhancing the overall welcoming atmosphere. Although parking options are minimal, the hotel’s central location reduces the need for vehicles, encouraging guests to explore the historic district and its many shops, restaurants, and discos on foot.
Ultimately, One Bunk Tijuana delivers exceptional value for those seeking a hip, culturally rich stay in a bustling part of the city. Its blend of modern comfort, walkable access to key attractions, and lively local flair make it a compelling choice for solo travelers, couples, and urban explorers looking to immerse themselves fully in Tijuana’s dynamic spirit.

This hotel is such a great value! We booked through Airbnb and the price was super reasonable. The location is fantastic— 5-7 minute drive to the US border ($5 cab), directly above the bar/restaurant La Justina (their cocktails are amazing), and a stone’s throw from tons of other restaurants, bars, and shops. There’s no need for a car since there’s plenty to do within walking distance. We also took Ubers from the hotel to farther restaurants a few times. When taking a taxi, most drivers don’t know the hotel by name, so it’s easier to just say that you want to go to the Hotel Ceasars on Avenida Revolucion, which is just diagonally across the street. We did have a little trouble finding the hotel on arrival because the entrance is actually up a steep set of steps on the side of the building. The beds have Casper mattresses, and are super comfortable. The style of the hotel is trendy and a bit eclectic, which makes for lots of fun Instagram pics haha. The room decor is simple, but funky, and the bathroom/shower tiles are fun. We especially loved the restaurant, La Placita, across the street for breakfast (with live music) and the restaurant, Cevicheria La Mas Nais, which is a few blocks away and has delish ahi tuna tostadas and whole grilled octopus. Also, take a taxi to the food truck park, Telefonica Gastro Park— great food and a really upbeat vibe!
Food: 4/5 Service: 5/5 Ambiance: 4/5 Parking: 1/5 Family friendly: 1/5 Stroller friendly: 0/5 ADA accessibility: 0/5 This 5 room boutique hotel is on the strip overlooking Ave. Revolución. It has a modern, hipster vibe. The rooms are small, with all the usual amenities, plush bed, and space is utilized well. Staff is very friendly, attentive. There is a really awesome bar with indoor outdoor seating and the chef/bartender Miguel great stories and life experiences from his world travels he's willing to share. Drinks were good but a bit expensive. If you are a couple who want to be in the downtown TJ area to experience nightlife, this might be the place for you. However, the hotel doesn't have its own parking, as it is off-site, not oriented for families or those who have difficulties moving around or in need of ramps.
The rooms are nice and cozy pretty clean I like the metro look they have. The one down fall is The room I stayed in didn't have a tv which was a bit annoying, seeing how I got sick during my trip and was confined to my room for an entire day with nothing to do. Also my room was a street view which was very noisy at night the local bars below the hotel play music very loud to pull people in but it kept me up till 4am when they close. In my opinion the price is a bit high compared to similar hotels in the area that offer more amenities. A good thing about this property is its completely secure. You need a key card to enter or exit which keeps out unwanted guess.
